Living so close to the Rappahannock river I have become very familiar with how beautiful the rock jettis can be. They a habitat for multiple shellfish like the blue crabs, oysters and even muscles. They offer a perfect hide away for many of the rivers occupants. They also make for a great photo. Below is a series I shot of rock jettis, rock retainer walls and other rocks or shells in and around the Rappahannock river.
