Creating in the time of COVID-19

Updated: Aug 30, 2020

Before self isolating at camp I was rebuilding my portfolio for freelance work. I must admit that I was full of excuses delaying my progress. ‘Freelance is just extra, feeling too tired, uninspired or creatively zapped from work to keep me from creating.' Telling myself that I didn't have the energy among other things. Being home all the time means no more excuses. The reality is I just wanted to be lazy. Granted you can only lounge around the house in sweatpants for so long before the need to create consumes you; or at least I do. Especially now that creating is the only thing that is keeping me sane.

Needless to say I'm back on track, since self isolating and working from home I have completed 6 pieces, 5 sunflower ink on bristol board prints and 1 sea turtle screen print on fabric framed in an embroidery hoop. For more of my work check out my portfolio or give one of my pieces a home by purchasing it from my shop.
