Phineas is a hound mix and was bread from Virginia hunting dogs. Fortunately we rescued him at 8 weeks old so he never had to know how brutal life could’ve been as a deer dog. Instead he’s our perfect not so little cuddle monster and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

However there are times when I catch him staring out the window at all the wildlife and I think he wishes we’d let him run free and chase ground hogs, deer, and every other wild animal to hunt to his hearts content.
